Compact Gas Flowmeter: GFMc-150

INTRODUCTION

                      The GFMc-150 flow meter is applicable for measuring flow rates of Bio-gas, LPG, Compressed air and other compressed gases in closed conduits. It is best suited for applications where affordability, reliability and ruggedness are of prime concerns.

In conventional system of measurement, the differential pressure generated by orifice plate is measured by DP transmitter. The output from DP transmitter after square rooting is accepted as proportional to flow rate. This assumption is true only when the density is constant.

Unfortunately density of compressible fluid is never constant. The density of compressible fluid changes with line pressure and line temperature. Thus, introducing errors in flow rate measurement.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION:  

As per BS 1042 / ISO: 5167 standard, the equation for mass flow when measured with orifice states:                       

       

Qm ∝ √ρ. √ ∆P

Where, 

                                                                                    

Qm = mass flow rate.                                                        

ρ     = instantaneous density.

∆P  = differential pressure.

JAL-OAGH 100, 300 SERIES OF ELECTROMAGNETIC FLOW METER

These Flow Meters are dedicated for waste water management system, sewage & effluent water measurement. These Flow Meters are mainly categorized int two i.e Threaded and Wafer type. Threaded is available from DN25 to DN65 i.e JAL-OAGH 100 Series while Wafer is available from DN 50 to DN 200 i.e JAL-OAGH 300 Series.

SG-SROAT: Sanitary Grade Electromagnetic Flow Meter

The Series SG-Sroat of Electromagnetic Flow Meters are specifically designed for measuremet of food grade liquids like milk, cream juices of various fruits, pharma liquids etc. It is available with integral or remote version of transmitter. The transmitter can have built in or remote totalizer display. Suitable End connections like SMS Union, DIN Union or Ti-clover Clamp is given as pers customer's requirement.

SROAT 1000i - Insertion Type Electromagnetic Flow Meter

The Manas make Insertion type Electromagnetic Flow Meter, called SROAT-1000i is an ideal solution for water flow measurement in large diameter pipes. Fairly good accuracy of measurement(typical 1% of flow rate) can be achieved with little care in installation of probe and transmitter. The electric conductivity of liquid under measurement can be as low as 20 microsiemens /cm. Being insertion type there is virtually no pressure loss. Most economical as compared to its counterpart in full bore measurement or ultrasonic measurement.

MEGA SROAT- Large Sized Electromagnetic Flow Meter

MEGA SROAT series is offering is offering large sized electromagnetic flow meters introduced by manas. The sizing ranges from 400mm diameter to 1600mm diameter. These flow meters are very accurate(Typically 0.5% of actual flow rate). Hard ebonite rubber lining makes these meters suitable for measurement of Raw water containing even abrasive sand and quartz practicles, mud etc. and still delivering long life. This series is also suitable for sewage application.

MAGMETER Sroat-1000 Electromagnetic Flow Meter

The Manas Make electromagnetic flow meter called as SROAT-1000  virtually approaches the ideal flow meter suitable for wide range of liquid flow measurements even with very low conductivities. The meter offers no resistance to flow hence the pressure drop is almost negligible. The measurement being based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, is independent of visocity, density, pressure & temperature of flowing medium. The measurement is not affected by solid impurities as long as the min. conductivity of 5µs/cm is available.
